The Growing Green Finance Gap: Can Digital Bonds be the Bridge?

Digital bonds, including tokenisation and real-time impact verification, are emerging as a way to unlock sustainability finance flows: lower costs, faster and more flexible issuance, less risk of greenwashing. This interactive session runs as an open Q&A. Our panel of global experts advises issuers, from cities to corporates, on how digitalising green and sustainability-labelled bonds could deliver the finance they need. Panellists bring practitioner experience across sustainable finance, banking, municipal finance, urban climate measures and resilience projects. Bring your most pressing questions on city climate finance and we will explore the challenges together.

De-risking the Future: Nature-based Infrastructure for Insurability and Resilience

With climate change, infrastructure assets face ever-evolving risks. This event explores how nature-based solutions (NBS) can improve the insurability, and thus bankability of infrastructure assets, and how they can enable resilience at scale. Insurance, conservation and non-profit partners will investigate financial incentives, data, partnerships, and regulatory responses needed to unlock insurance coverage and to guarantee resilient infrastructure through nature-based or hybrid solutions.

Information Integrity: The Missing Infrastructure of Prosperity

True economic prosperity requires trusted data, yet synthetic media and algorithmic volatility are quietly fracturing the information ecosystem on which markets and society rely. This panel reframes information integrity as essential economic infrastructure, examining how disinformation distorts reputation, misdirects capital, influences political outcomes and triggers market volatility. Bringing together academics, finance leaders, capital allocators and foundation executives, it tackles the real costs of informational decay and outlines a practical roadmap of verification standards, media literacy and strategic investment. The session marks the public launch of the Prospera Foundation.

AI & Nature

Climate risk speaks in broad terms. A drought, a heatwave, a shifting rainfall pattern, playing out across whole regions, where a regional signal is often enough. Nature doesn’t work that way. Whether a site sits in a stressed watershed, near a protected area, or on degrading soil is a question about that site alone. Nature risk is specific – down to individual assets. AI makes that specificity possible at scale. This turns a point on a map into three answers investors need: which assets face the highest probable impacts, which depend on resources like water to operate, and how financially material those risks are to the assets – and companies – involved.

Transitioning High-Impact Industries: How Investors Can Balance Climate, Nature and People ? The case of the Fashion Industry

Climate change, biodiversity loss, water scarcity and human rights are interconnected challenges reshaping investment risks and opportunities. Using the fashion industry as a case study, this interactive workshop will explore how investors can integrate climate, nature and social considerations into investment decisions, stewardship and capital allocation. Through a practical case study and moderated roundtables, participants will examine how to manage trade-offs, maximise synergies and scale credible, investable solutions that deliver positive outcomes for people, planet and long-term business resilience.

Banking perspectives on social and human rights impacts of artificial intelligence

Banks are lending into the AI value chain faster than they are building the tools to assess it. This world café looks at how banks should engage their data centre and AI clients on human rights: what to ask, what to look out for, and where they have leverage. Four tables cover the value chain, from the minerals in the servers to the bank’s own use of AI, each hosted by a human rights, labour or technology expert.

From Field Risk to Bankable Transition

How do you move a farmer from awareness of regenerative practices to adoption at scale? Drawing on a live pilot in Canada, this session presents an integrated pathway: P&L mapping to identify transition risks and ROI at the farm level; parametric insurance piloted by a global insurer to de-risk practices; and downstream demand anchoring to ease the transition. Together, they offer a globally replicable architecture for mobilizing capital into agricultural transition — farm by farm, risk by risk.
