Tenke Andrea Zoltáni

CEO - SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI)

Tenke Zoltáni is Chief Executive Officer of the SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI). Prior, she founded Better Finance, a Switzerland-based advisory firm focused on impact investing, blended finance, and sustainable finance strategies. With more than 15 years of experience across private markets, sovereign finance, and development finance, she has advised governments, institutional investors, corporations, and international organizations on structuring investment solutions that mobilize private capital toward sustainable development outcomes.

Prior to joining SIFI, Tenke served as Director of Impact Investing at UBS Switzerland, where she established the bank’s impact advisory practice for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Earlier in her career, she worked at Islan Asset Management, part of Bunge, focusing on direct investments and agribusiness value chains, and began her career in climate finance and carbon markets in London alongside leading economists and policy experts including Nicholas Stern.

Tenke served for nearly as decade as a Senior Advisor to UNDP, building out their finance practice, including on thematic debt. Her work has included support for more than USD 30 billion in sovereign thematic bond issuances, as well as advising on the first global blended finance fund for coral reef conservation. She has also advised organizations including SAP, WWF, Edmond de Rothschild, and TLG Capital on impact investment strategies, blended finance structures, and sustainable investment approaches.

She holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, an M.Sc. in International Political Economy from London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a CAIA Charterholder. Outside of work, she competes internationally in distance running and more recently, hyrox.
