Leticia Ferreras Astorqui

Head of Development Finance - Allianz Global Investors

Leticia Ferreras Astorqui is the Head of Development Finance at Allianz Global Investors, which manages over USD 4bn of commitments. Leticia joined AllianzGI in July 2020 to help expand AllianzGI’s presence in Emerging Markets (EM) through various direct private debt strategies. Since joining, Leticia has focused on the fundraising and deployment of the credit-enhanced EM investment strategy (launched in 2021). In addition, she led on the structuring, fundraising and launch of AllianzGI’s third blended debt fund – the Allianz Credit Emerging Markets Fund (ACE) focused on Paris aligned investments across EM. ACE reached first close in December 2025 with $690m of commitments. Prior to joining AllianzGI, Leticia worked at Macquarie Capital focusing on principal investments across energy projects in LatinAmerica. Before that, she was part of the Project Finance team at MUFG Union Bank based out of New York focusing on infrastructure and energy transactions across the Americas.
