Global Head of Regenerative Agriculture - Louis Dreyfus Company

Axelle Bodoy is Head of Global Regenerative Agriculture at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), a leading global merchant and processor of agricultural goods.
Axelle leads a global team focused on developing and implementing regenerative agriculture field programs in LDC’s key supply sheds, supporting farmers in their transition to regenerative agriculture practices.
Prior to joining LDC in 2023, Axelle held various leadership roles with a focus on regenerative agriculture strategies, including operational roles in sustainable transformation of farming systems across the globe. She also has experience in carbon accounting, forecasting and mitigation pathways in agri-sourcing.
Axelle holds a degree in Agronomical Engineering from ENSAT (Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulourse) and two master’s degrees in Local Rural Development and Tropical Agricultural Systems from Insituto Politécnico Madrid, Spain, and Institut Agro Montpellier, France.
In addition to her role at LDC, Axelle is a non-executive Board Member at Ingleby Farms and Forests, and a farmer herself, operating a 11-hectare regenerative pistachio, pomegranate and hemp farm in the south of France.
