From Ocean ambition to verified impacts: Building the Market for Ocean Outcomes

Oceans produce 50% of the world’s oxygen. They help regulate our climate and are home for countless fish and marine lifeforms. Underpinning the livelihoods for millions of people, they contribute to economies, locally and globally. Promising solutions exist, but many face challenges in accessing the capital needed to help them scale.

This 60-minute webinar will explore how outcomes-based finance can help mobilize capital for ocean conservation, moving from the rationale for paying for verified outcomes, through the development of investment-ready opportunities, to real-world implementation. Importantly, we will also examine what is required to move beyond individual transactions and help build a broader, scalable market for ocean finance.
