Building Bridges Delegation Heads to Nairobi to Deepen Investment Connections
On 2 November, a delegation from the Building Bridges Africa investment community will travel to Nairobi to strengthen ties between African and European actors working to accelerate sustainable investment across the continent. Coinciding with the 2025 African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) Conference, the visit forms part of a broader effort of the Building Bridges’ Africa Investment Community to build durable partnerships and unlock opportunities for capital to flow across the continent.
The delegation will engage with key regional players, including the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA) and the African Natural Capital Alliance (ANCA), and include a field visits to understand first–hand the impact, needs, challenges and opportunities on the African continent.
The mission follows on from the 2024 Bridging Africa–Europe SDG Investment Summit, also held in Nairobi, and reflects Building Bridges’ commitment to sustained ecosystem-building in frontier and emerging markets.
The delegation aims to deepen learning about investment opportunities across clean energy, agriculture, digital innovation, health, and nature finance, with a focus on de-risking mechanisms, blended models, and partnerships that align international capital with African innovation.
