Global Director, Regenerative Food Systems - The Nature Conservancy

Saswati Bora is the Global Director for Regenerative Food Systems at The Nature Conservancy, where she leads efforts to advance regenerative food systems that are climate-resilient, productive, and restorative for nature and people, with a focus on driving systems change at scale.

She brings more than two decades of experience shaping and leading ambitious agendas across food systems, sustainable agriculture, and rural development, with prior roles at the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

Saswati holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. Born and raised in Assam, India, Saswati is now based in New York City.
