Courtney Lowrance is Director of Durable Protection Finance at NatureVest, The Nature Conservancy’s impact investing and conservation finance team. She leads the development of innovative financing models that mobilize public, private, and blended capital to support large-scale conservation outcomes, with a particular focus on Project Finance for Permanence (PfP) approaches. Prior to joining The Nature Conservancy, Courtney spent more than two decades in corporate and investment banking, most recently as a Managing Director at Citi, where she led sustainability and transition-focused investment banking activities. Drawing on experience across both finance and conservation, she brings a practical perspective on how financial institutions can better integrate nature-related risks and opportunities into investment and lending decisions.
