Vice-President of Sustainability - Holcim

Antonio is the Vice-President of Sustainability at Holcim, a global leader in building materials and solutions, headquartered in Switzerland, leading the Group’s Sustainability and ESG strategy, setting science-based objectives in key areas such as climate action, circularity, and nature and establishing strategic partnerships to achieve these goals successfully. With over 16 years of experience across various corporate and operational roles, Antonio has held strategic positions including Group Head of Climate and Energy, and Head of ESG Reporting. Antonio has been instrumental in coordinating Holcim’s Net-Zero Pledge and overseeing the verification process of the company’s intermediate targets with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). He also represents Holcim in prominent industry organizations such as the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). In addition, Antonio served as a member of the SBTi Technical Advisory Group from 2020 to 2022.
