Deputy Head of Sustainable Investing - Lombard Odier Investment Managers
Elise Beaufils is Deputy Head of Sustainable Investing at Lombard Odier, having joined the firm in 2018. She was previously Head of Systematic Sustainability Research and responsible for developing state-of-the-art models of companies’ activities to measure accurately the climate-risk held in investors’ portfolios. In particular, she designed and co-led the development of Lombard Odier’s proprietary Temperature Alignment methodology, intended to evaluate the alignment of companies and portfolios to the climate transition, which has been recognized as one of the leading metrics in the market. She has also designed the decarbonisation process that lies at the heart of our TargetNetZero strategies. She led the strategical implementation of EU sustainable finance regulation for Lombard Odier group and designed the related Lombard Odier Sustainable Investment framework. Elise is now responsible for overseeing LOIM sustainable private assets strategies, designing and integrating robust impact frameworkd across the full private investment lifecycle. Elise holds a Masters of Science from Mines Paristech with a background in nuclear engineering.
