NETWORKING
Building Bridges is more than just exchanging business cards; it’s about forging the connections that drive systems change.

At Building Bridges, networking isn’t a side event, it’s how over 2,000 change-makers under one roof, connect with each other, courageously. Every moment is an opportunity to connect across sectors, challenge assumptions, and co-create solutions. From curated sessions to chance encounters over coffee, here’s how networking features across Building Bridges 2025…
Action Events
Most of our Action Events are co-designed by community partners to be interactive and participatory. Workshops, roundtables, fishbowl formats and solution stage sessions are engineered to spark real conversations and open new pathways for collaboration.
Global Village
The Global Village on the ground floor of the CICG offers a relaxed space for impromptu dialogue—over coffee, between sessions, or during dedicated networking breaks. Amidst highly visual billboards by Founding Partners and Event Partners of Building Bridges, participants can learn about sustainability initiatives in action. In addition, the vibrant space is animated by cocktail events on selected evenings.
Speed Networking
Our Speed Networking Sessions, led by Diamond Event Partners Lombard Odier, Pictet and UBS, are tailored for those looking to make fast, focused, high-value connections. They aim to facilitate individual connections between people interested in similar topics to expand their networks and explore areas of synergy in their work. The sessions follow a classic Speed Networking format where individuals rapid fire introduce themselves to each other and then move on to a new person. Participants meet 8-10 new people during the session.
Cohorts Connect
Launching soon, Cohorts Connect is a curated peer networking experience open by application. This two-part programme invites selected participants into a Cohorts to go deeper, not just broader.
- Day 1 kicks off with a Warm Data Lab facilitated by Nora Bateson, creating space for authentic, human-centred exchange.
- Day 3 concludes with a facilitated reflection session, designed to turn insights into action and build lasting connections.
More than networking, Cohorts Connect is about building trust and laying the foundations for future collaboration.
