Will Lockhart OBE is Deputy Director for Nature Markets and Investment at Defra, where he leads work to unlock private investment in nature recovery in England. He has a background in climate, environment and energy policy with over 10 years in the civil service. Will has also been Director of the Government Energy and Climate Campus at Apolitical and represented the UK as lead negotiator in UN nature negotiations, including the agreement of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
