Vincent Conus is a senior Swiss foreign affairs official with extensive experience in multilateral diplomacy, peacebuilding, and international cooperation, currently Counsellor for Global Affairs at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) in Geneva, with a focus on sustainable finance, innovation, and global health. Previously, he served as First Secretary (Political Affairs) at Switzerland’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, working on multilateral negotiations and UN processes. He has held senior programme and policy roles within the FDFA covering Latin America, Zimbabwe, and the Sahel, as well as field-based humanitarian experience with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Colombia and Guinea.
