Thuy Maryen

Head of Communications

Thuy (Twee) Maryen is the Head of Communications at Building Bridges. With extensive experience in food systems, nutrition, and sustainability, Thuy excels at fostering partnerships and driving impactful change.

Before joining Building Bridges, she was Head of Communications at the 4SD Foundation, where she advised Sir David Nabarro on public health and led communications for the United Nations 2021 Food Systems Summit Dialogues, engaging over 130,000 participants worldwide. Thuy also spearheaded projects for the 2022 White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Otago.
