Dr. Tafadzwa Kalisto Munzwa, M.D., is Co-founder and CEO of Dawa Health, a deep-tech health company based in Lusaka, Zambia, developing AI-powered infrastructure for women’s health across Sub-Saharan Africa. Its flagship platform, DawaMom, empowers last-mile clinics with an integrable, state-of-the-art imaging and screening platform for maternal and reproductive health.

Dawa Health has been recognised through the Deep Learning Indaba and Google-sponsored Data Science for Health in Africa Ideathons, and is supported by partners including UNICEF Femtech Ventures, Grand Challenges Canada, TogetHER for Health, UNFPA Zambia, and the Ministry of Health. The company is also part of the 2026 Royal Academy of Engineering Africa Prize and MIT Africa DeepTech cohorts.
