Sofia Strömgård

Communications Lead - International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD)

Sofia Strömgård is Communications Lead for IISD’s Infrastructure, Procurement, and Sustainable Finance programs, where she leads communications for the Nature-Based Infrastructure (NBI) Resource Centre. She has eight years of experience in journalism, strategic communications, and sustainable development. Prior to joining IISD, Sofia held communications roles at the European Council on Foreign Relations and Nordregio, focusing on regional development within the Nordic co-operation, and worked as a journalist at the Finnish public service broadcaster Yle.
