Sébastien Le Fouest is Co-Founder and CEO of Windworks, a Swiss startup building wind turbines with self-adjusting blades that produce power on-site for farms, industry and communities. He ran the first pitching-blade prototype at EPFL during his PhD in Energy, and founded the company in 2025 to bring it to market. He believes wind is the missing half of decentralised renewables, covering the winter and night-time hours when solar produces nothing, and that bringing its cost down is the shortest path to energy sovereignty.
