Paola Fudakowska is a public international law and human rights lawyer, with an LLM from the Geneva Academy. She has a varied human rights-focused practice which includes advising global businesses to understand the potential applicability and implications of sustainability and human rights due diligence regulation.
With 20 years cross-sector experience, Paola worked as litigation counsel at an international law firm and subsequently as a legal adviser at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in London and Geneva, advising on the UK government’s strategic priorities including development of human rights policy.
Paola holds a number of leadership and governance roles, including as trustee of the Anti-Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit (ATLEU), a UK charity that offers legal assistance to survivors of modern slavery and lobbys the UK government to achieve policy change.
