Kieran Dobson

Dr. Kieran Dobson is the Head of Sustainability Client Engagement for EMEA at S&P Global and the Global Head of Sustainable Exchanges at Horizons. With deep expertise in sustainability data, regulatory frameworks, and sustainable finance, Dr. Dobson partners with global financial institutions and exchanges to drive capital market transparency and resilience. In his current roles, he focuses on equipping investors and listed entities with sustainability and market datasets and insights necessary to navigate climate adaptation, mitigate systemic risks, and develop robust sustainability strategies across public and private markets, commodities, and supply chains.

Previously, Dr. Dobson served as an Energy and Automotive ESG Analyst at RobecoSAM, where he quantified financially-material sustainability metrics for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, where he led research on social entrepreneurship across Belgium and India. He continues to publish academic research on the scalability and impact of social enterprises in journals such as the International Business Review, European Management Review, and the Journal of Cleaner Production.
