Karolina Frischkopf

Karolina Frischkopf is the Director of Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER). She has extensive experience in leadership and has demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise in both humanitarian aid and diplomacy. Before her current role, Karolina served as the Deputy Director of the Swiss Red Cross. Her diplomatic career spans roles in Mexico, Geneva, Beijing, and Berne with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. Earlier in her career, Karolina has focused on child protection and youth participation on national and international levels. Her academic background is in international relations, economics, management, and political science.
