Joan Fulton is a blue finance consultant, having worked on mandates with ADB, UNDP, the World Bank and the EU, inter alia. She is Senior Advisor to Ocean Assets Institute focusing on financing options and readiness for SMEs in the Blue Economy of the Global South, and an advisor to SustainaSea Blue Economy advisors. She draws on a distinguished career in international banking (UBS, Chase), risk management (Union Bancaire Privée) and corporate finance (Union Carbide). Joan served as Adjunct Professor of Management at Universities in Madrid and Geneva. Joan holds a BA, Stanford University, and an MBA, Columbia University.
