Co-Founder & Managing Director - Finance Earth

Jamie co-founded Finance Earth in 2016 and brings 15 years of experience in project finance, capital markets, investment advisory and capital raising strategy development. Jamie has helped design over USD 1 billion of bespoke investments across a range of natural assets, regenerative land-use and renewable energy projects and enterprises. Jamie has structured and executed a broad set of institutional debt products, blended finance, equity funds and concessional finance and outcome-linked mechanisms for nature enterprises and projects. Jamie has led multiple UK and international projects, including CAPE alongside FSD Africa and African Natural Capital Alliance. Jamie led the structuring of UBS Optimus Foundation’s impact-linked loan for nature-based projects in Tanzania and oversaw capital raising and deal structuring for the £50 million Community Owned Renewable Energy Fund (CORE). Jamie led the international review of 200+ nature-based investment projects for the Green Purposes Company (part of the Green Investment Group), presenting learnings in the House of Lords to executives from BlackRock, Bank of America, and Coutts. Jamie holds a Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy from the University of Exeter and is an FCA Approved Person.
