Founder & CIO of fama re.capital, an independent investment firm established in Brazil in 1993.
For more than three decades, Fabio has worked at the intersection of capital allocation, long-term value creation, and structural transformation.

His investment approach is grounded in the belief that markets consistently struggle to price the long-term consequences of environmental, social and economic imbalances until these imbalances eventually become financial variables through regulation, insurance costs, productivity, geopolitics, cost of capital and systemic instability.

Over the years, his work has increasingly focused on how capital can drive adaptation across companies, supply chains and economic systems facing environmental, industrial and social disruption.
His current areas of focus include decarbonization, natural capital, industrial transition and economic resilience across public and private markets.

Beyond investing, Fabio serves on the boards of WWF Brasil and Instituto Ethos and is actively involved in organizations and initiatives focused on climate, nature and social inequality. He is also a frequent writer on investment and structural change.

Fabio was included in The World’s 99 Greatest Investors. His work today remains centered on a question that has shaped much of his investment career: how to identify long-term value creation in systems undergoing profound change.
