Carbon Finance Manager - Tree Global

Catalina serves as Carbon Finance Manager at Tree Global, mobilizing capital to finance large-scale ecosystem restoration projects, removing millions of tons of carbon, and empowering communities so that forests and biodiversity become engines for sustainable development. Catalina is also a Lecturer in Impact Investing at the University of Geneva. Previously, Catalina was Head of Latin America at Blue Marble Microinsurance. She has also worked as a consultant at FSG, ICRC, ITC, and OECD. Catalina started her career at Zurich Insurance Group Investment Management. She was Visiting Fellow at Harvard University and holds a PhD in Development Economics from IHEID.
