Senior Project Manager - Climate and Nature Finance - Global Infrastructure Basel Foundation (GIB)

Ania Porucznik is a Senior Project Manager for Climate and Nature Finance at GIB. Her focus is on how nature-based infrastructure can be financed and scaled, especially in urban contexts. She advises municipalities across Europe on public and private funding models, partnership strategies, and financing mechanisms for climate adaptation and resilient infrastructure, including nature-based solutions.

Before joining GIB, Ania worked at responsAbility, a Zurich-based impact investing asset manager, structuring private debt investments into renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean mobility across emerging markets. She brings expertise in translating complex environmental and policy insights into actionable financial strategies.

Ania holds a Master’s degree in Climate Sciences from the University of Bern and has gained research experience at the ETH Zurich. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor degree in Economics and Finance and worked in the Swiss banking sector.
