Alix LEBEC is a global innovative finance entrepreneur and investor with 20+ years of experience mobilizing and deploying capital at the intersection of global capital markets and systemic change. In 2020, she founded LEBEC, an innovative finance platform built to channel $5 billion toward solutions building a resilient planet over the next decade. LEBEC activates this vision through three integrated pillars: strategic advisory, its investment manager—LEBEC Capital Partners—which constructs and invests in diversified private market fund portfolios scaling solutions; and narrative change across media and entertainment.
Previously, Alix was a founding executive at WaterEquity alongside Gary White and Matt Damon, co-building a $260M+ world-class asset manager called WaterEquity that invests in water and sanitation solutions in emerging markets. Her career also includes leadership roles at The World Bank and the Clinton Global Initiative. An alumnus of the London School of Economics and the American University of Paris, Alix is a Top 100 Women to KNOW in America and a Worthy100 Awardee. She serves as a Limited Partner at Polymath Ventures and a member of 100 Women in Finance, with thought leadership featured in Forbes, Inc., Fast Company, and the Financial Times.
