Fiona Shera is Director of Division of the Sustainable and Inclusive Trade at International Trade Centre (ITC). Fiona Shera joined ITC in December 2022 as the Director of the Division of Sustainable and Inclusive Trade (DSIT). Fiona is a qualified economist with a deep knowledge of trade and development policy and practice. Her decades of international development experience span the European Commission, World Bank, thirteen years in the former UK Department for International Development, Country Director of Traidlinks Uganda and over eight years working in the UK private sector consulting industry. She lived and worked in Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Uganda and as Head of Trade and Development in DFID, she oversaw the Aid for Trade Strategy which grew into a £285 million portfolio of projects.
