On 1 December 2025, we co-organised an Executive Networking Lunch with Sustainable Finance Geneva and GreenBuzz, following up on the first gathering of this bi-city series held on 21 October 2025 under the theme “Bridging Finance and Sustainability: From Geneva to Zurich.” Our Executive Networking Lunch took place at our office in Geneva and underscored Switzerland’s unique position, with both Geneva and Zurich consistently ranked among the top five sustainable finance centres globally according to the Global Green Finance Index.

The event highlighted the importance of strengthening the connection between Switzerland’s two major financial centres to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable economy. It also provided an opportunity to reflect on the outcomes of Building Bridges 2025 (30 September – 2 October) and discuss how its momentum can be carried forward. Throughout the afternoon, participants engaged in informal yet insightful conversations during a standing networking lunch, connecting with peers from across finance, business, and sustainability.

Our keynote speaker, Antonio Carrillo, Vice-President of Sustainability at Holcim, offered an in-depth overview of the company’s strategy and the central role sustainability plays within it. He explained how Holcim is reinventing building through circular, resilient, low-carbon, energy-efficient, and smart solutions. Carrillo emphasised that global markets require tailored approaches, innovation cannot be applied uniformly and left us with a compelling message – sustainability must go hand in hand with profitability.

This bi-city series with GreenBuzz and Sustainable Finance Geneva represents our ongoing efforts to connect actors across Switzerland and beyond, ensuring that capital flows where it matters most — to projects and businesses that deliver financial returns alongside positive social and environmental outcomes.
