reilo AG
Building nature as collateral unlocking smallholder finance.
Smallholder farmers hold $375bn in nature assets, yet can’t borrow a dollar against them. reilo turns nature-based carbon revenues into bankable collateral, enabling financial institutions to lend to farmer cooperatives previously considered too risky. We are building the infrastructure to make nature bankable at scale, with an active POC in Tanzania and our MVP launching in Brazil in Q4 2026.
Business model description: reilo acts as an orchestrator, connecting farmer cooperatives, financial institutions, and carbon buyers through local field partners. We charge banks a 4% service fee on enabled loan volume and retain 15% of carbon revenues from projects we structure, monitor, and manage.
