From 9-11 November 2026, Building Bridges is proud to convene an investor delegation to the 2026 AVPA Conference, hosted by the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) in Cape Town, South Africa. Bringing together investors, philanthropists, development finance institutions, foundations, policymakers and entrepreneurs, the conference has established itself as one of Africa’s leading platforms for advancing impact investing and sustainable finance.

On the theme “Beyond Aid: Financing Africa’s Future for Sustainable Impact”, organisers expect to explore how capital can be mobilised more effectively to accelerate sustainable development, strengthen local financial ecosystems and scale impactful solutions across the continent.

Building Bridges’ participation, led by our Head of Strategic Projects, Boris Le Montagner, reflects our mission of aligning finance with sustainability and fostering meaningful collaboration between African and international investors. Through a curated delegation programme, participants will engage with leaders across the impact investing, philanthropy and development finance landscape, while gaining first-hand insights into Africa’s rapidly evolving sustainable investment ecosystem.

We look forward to engaging with partners, investors and innovators in Cape Town and to sharing key insights from the delegation with our broader community.
