Giovanna Dipasquale

Giovanna Dipasquale is a medical physicist and the co-founder and CEO of HeroSupport SA, a Swiss medtech spin-off from Geneva University Hospitals founded in 2022. Drawing on her more than 20 years of clinical experience in radiotherapy, she pioneered the use of 3D printing to create personalized medical devices for cancer treatment. Her innovative leadership earned her the Female Innovator of the Year award in 2025.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, Giovanna led the development of the VENUS SHELL™, a customized 3D-printed system designed to improve patient comfort and positioning accuracy during breast cancer radiation therapy. Through the team’s combined expertise and commitment, HeroSupport secured CE Mark certification for the device and initiated a clinical trial in the United States. Together, the HeroSupport team continues to transform cancer care by advancing more personalized, patient-centred solutions.
