Sani Bankoley is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in international capital markets, combining African and Asian perspectives to deliver innovative solutions. She has worked extensively with Multilateral Development Banks, sovereigns, banks, and insurers across EMEA, executing over $200 billion in capital markets operations and attracting major private capital into Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) projects.

Sani is a recognized leader in building public institution franchises and optimising resources for impactful financial solutions. As a member of the 100 Davos Women community, she actively shapes global financial policy through her engagement at the World Economic Forum, forging partnerships that advance sustainable finance.

Beyond institutional work, she has led the development of national-scale sustainable projects in West Africa, including energy and regenerative agriculture, collaborating with partners like Gold Standard, VERRA, and the World Bank. Her expertise in nature-based solutions and carbon finance earned her appointment to the UNFCCC Article 6 Mechanism Roster Panel in 2024.
