Renat is a serial social entrepreneur and leading expert in the field of climate and nature finance. Renat is CEO and co-founder of Terra Impact Ventures, an impact investment and strategy advisory company. He serves in numerous chairman and board roles including M-Power, Urban Connect, eAgronom and Climada Technologies. With South Pole and the myclimate Foundation he has founded and led two iconic brands from startups to global climate action players. Renat is elected “Social Entrepreneur of Switzerland” by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation, and he serves as a member of the Expert Network of the WEF. He acts as Innovation Council for the Swiss government. Renat holds a Master degree in Environmental Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS).
