Oliver Hanke is a visionary executive with over 25 years of experience scaling sustainable investment platforms across the globe. He combines financial acumen with deep technical knowledge to bridge the gap between regenerative land use and investor priorities. Oliver’s work is driven by a commitment to demonstrating that productive landscapes can restore ecosystems, generate sustainable livelihoods, and create long-term value for communities, partners, and capital providers alike.
He is leading the European team at RRG NBS, a project development company owned by Vision Ridge Capital, RRG, Mitsui and S2G, which strives to create value for investors and partners in sustainable real assets in agriculture, food, water management, habitat conservation, and renewable energy — and deliver outsized impact.
Oliver is also Co-Founder and CEO of 12Tree GmbH, an investment advisory boutique and pioneer in making nature-based solutions investable on a large scale for institutional investors and providing ecological and social benefits locally. Previous roles include CIO at Ostrom Climate and a decade at Swiss private banking group Julius Baer, where he led the Global Product Management.
