Nathalie Picarelli

Senior Economist - World Bank

Nathalie Picarelli is a Senior Economist at the World Bank in Brussels and covers macroeconomic and fiscal policy for the EU and Poland, with prior experience leading budget support operations and technical assistance in Côte d’Ivoire and Benin. She worked extensively in fragile states such as Haiti and Niger, and across Latin America and the Caribbean on growth, debt management, public finance, infrastructure, and transport. Nathalie led the first World Bank Debt-for-Development Swap for Côte d’Ivoire. She holds a PhD from the London School of Economics, an MPA from Columbia University, an MRes in Economics, and a BA from Sciences Po Paris.
