Board Member - Refugee Investment Facility

Morten Hoegnesen leads the Danish Refugee Council’s (DRC) Innovation and Business Engagement Division, overseeing it’s global portfolio of innovative financing initiatives, private sector partnerships and the DRC innovation team. He has over 15 years of experience in humanitarian assistance, development and social financing, with leading roles in innovation, funding, partnerships and program management in NGOs and UN.

He is member of the Board of Directors and the Investment Commitee of the Refugee Investment Facility, a specialized investment facility co-managed by DRC and Swiss impact finance firm, iGravity, focused on impact-linked finance for enterprises benefitting refugees and their host communities.
