Head of Grant Acquisition & Partnerships - HEKS/EPER

Marisa Althaus is Head of Grants and Partnerships at HEKS/EPER and has over 15 years’ experience in the humanitarian and development sector, including more than a decade in impact investing and innovative finance from the NGO and non-profit side.

She also serves as Senior Advisor for Communication and Fundraising at Balim Investments AG, an Africa-focused impact investment company, where she supports the scale-up of the investment facility and its Technical Assistance Facility to maximize impact. Marisa bridges development actors and private capital to deliver sustainable, high-impact solutions.
