Marisa Althaus is a fundraising and partnerships leader with over 15 years’ experience in the humanitarian and development sector, including more than a decade working in impact investing and innovative finance from the NGO and non-profit side.

She is Senior Advisor for Communication and Fundraising at Balim Investments AG, an Africa-focused impact investment company, where she supports the scale-up of the investment facility and its Technical Assistance Facility to maximize impact. Marisa brings a unique ability to connect development actors and private capital to deliver sustainable, high-impact solutions.
