Chief of Strategy - Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD)

Kate is the Chief of Strategy for the Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISFD), a global initiative to incentivize business and financial practices that create stronger, more resilient societies and economies. She brings more than 20 years of experience partnering with business leaders to create positive outcomes for people—in the workplace, in the value chain, and in wider society.

Alongside her work at TISFD, Kate is a Partner at SocialSide, a strategy and research consultancy focused on the social side – the human side – of sustainability. She previously worked for Save the Children, where she built the organisation’s Global Business & Innovation Hub. Prior to Save the Children, Kate spent a decade at FSG, a boutique consulting firm founded by Harvard Professors Michael Porter and Mark Kramer, where she co-led the firm’s corporate practice and worked with dozens of companies and their partners to develop strategies to address social issues material to business performance, including gender equity, workforce development, and economic inclusion.

She writes frequently on the relationship between business and society, including collaborating with the WBCSD on “Tackling Inequality: An Agenda for Business Action” and “Empowering People, Driving Change: The Role of the Chief People Officer”; with Unilever on “Equity for Impact”; and with FSG on “Centering Equity in Corporate Purpose”. She holds an MBA in International Business from Georgetown University.
