Jürg Füssler

Jürg Fuessler is an internationally renowned expert in emissions trading, carbon markets and climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has extensive experience advising utilities, industry, governments and international financial institutions in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, South East Asia, India and China on the risks and opportunities of climate change. He has worked at INFRAS since 2009. He is a managing partner and a member of the INFRAS board of directors. He is also a member of the inrate board of directors. From 2022 to 2024, he was a member of the expert panel for the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM). Prior to joining INFRAS, he worked as a Senior Carbon Originator at Swiss Re’s Emissions Desk in London, among other roles. He studied physics at ETH Zurich and received a PhD from the Paul Scherrer Institute.
