Job Zongo is an impact investing professional with over 18 years of experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and SME development in Burkina Faso. As Managing Director of Nere Capital (formerly Sinergi Burkina) — an impact investment fund sponsored by Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) — he leads the fund’s strategy, investments, and portfolio management, supporting local SMEs with innovative financing and hands on guidance to accelerate their growth.

He is also a member of Impact Investing Burkina (IIB), for which Nere Capital serves as the host organization, promoting the development of a vibrant impact investing ecosystem in the country.

Before Nere Capital, Job spent over 12 years in the microfinance sector and founded a finance and management consulting firm dedicated to start ups, SMEs, and incubators. Job is passionate about unlocking the growth potential of African SMEs, building impactful partnerships, and strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem across West Africa. Job holds a Master in Management from HEC Paris and an Alternative Investments Certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
