Elise Buckle is a globally recognized climate leader and sustainability expert, who has been working in the field of climate and sustainability for 25 years. She is Founder and CEO of Climate Bridges and Member of the Club of Rome. She is an International Gender Champion and Co-Chair of the Climate and Gender Impact Group, as well as senior advisor to the UN and to the World Bank Women Entrepreneurs- Finance Initiative. She is also former advisor to the COP23 Presidency, co-founder of SHE Changes Climate. Elise has a strong track record of working as a partnership facilitator and catalyst for change, building bridges and successful global alliances to unlock the power of collective action and deliver positive impacts for climate, people and nature; some of her work included the launch and coordination of the Planetary Emergency Partnership, the Nature-Based Solutions Coalition hosted by the UN, the Leaders Pledge for Nature and the G7/G20 Summits Heads of States declarations on sustainable finance. She is a leadership mentor and teaches sustainability, ethical business and entrepreneurship at the Glion Institute of Excellence in Hospitality.
