Regional Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa - TCX

Demba Tandia is Vice President at TCX Fund (global development finance initiative which offers long-term currency swaps and forwards in 100+ financial markets where such products are not available or poorly accessible). He covers global borrowers operating in Sub-Saharan Africa and international lenders covering emerging and frontier markets, typically multilateral development banks, DFIs and other types of impact investors. Prior to joining TCX in 2021, Demba was Investment Officer for the Financial Institution Group Department – Africa Unit of PROPARCO (the private sector financing arm of Agence Française de Développement Group). He also served as Senior Treasury officer within AFD Group. His product background extends from derivatives to fixed income and credit-related structures. Demba has studied Economics, Banking and Finance in French universities.
