David Albertani

Chief Executive Officer - Catalytic Finance Foundation

David Albertani is the CEO of the Catalytic Finance Foundation (‘Catalytic’). At Catalytic he leads the efforts in setting up new blended financial vehicles dedicated to sustainable infrastructure and oversees Technical Assistance implementation from Catalytic.

Among other Catalytic programs, Mr. Albertani has been leading the setup of multiple blended funds dedicated to sustainable infrastructure. Under his leadership Catalytic supported the Fundraising of 526 Millions USD of concessional fundings.

Mr. Albertani is a member of the SDSN Global Commission for Urban SDG Finance leaded by Jeffrey Sachs and a member of the Swiss Platform for Impact Investing.

Previously, Mr. Albertani also successfully managed a waste management program in Oran, Algeria which got him official recognition from the Algerian authorities. He was a scientific associate in the mathematics department at the University of Geneva. He specialized in the field of probabilities and mechanical statistics where he published scientific articles on correlation estimates. He has been member of the council of the Swiss Doctoral Program of Mathematics.
