Bernhard Kerschbaum is a seasoned humanitarian and development leader with over 20 years of senior management experience across complex and fragile environments. As Head of Global Cooperation and a member of the executive board at HEKS/EPER he oversees the organization’s operations and partner network in more than 30 countries.

Bernhard is a founding member and currently president of Balim Investments AG, where he advances sustainable change at the intersection of investments and social impact. He is deeply committed to community engagement, human rights, and advancing sustainable change through inclusive business models.
