Beatrice Weder di Mauro

Beatrice Weder di Mauro holds the André Hoffmann Chair of Economics, Climate, and Nature Finance and serves as President of the Centre for Economic Policy Research in Paris and London. Previously, she was Professor of Economics at the Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany and from 2015 to 2021 Research Professor at INSEAD Singapore.
She regularly acts as consultant to governments, international organisations, and central banks, including the Swiss Federal Government, European Commission, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, and OECD. From 2004 to 2012, she was a member of the German Council of Economic Experts.
Her corporate governance experience includes serving on the boards of leading global companies such as Roche, UBS, and ThyssenKrupp. She is currently a board member at Unigestion and Bosch. Her research focuses on international macroeconomics, financial crises, and climate and nature finance.
