Aymeric Teulon is a seasoned expert with over 20 years in capital markets, project financing, and risk management. As Vice President at Deutsche Bank, he was pivotal in implementing Basel III and de-risking over €50 billion in assets, strengthening the bank’s capital position. As former COO of Deutsche Bank’s Infrastructure and Energy division, he managed €15 billion across diverse energy projects.
Now a founding Partner at ORI, Aymeric leads efforts across the energy value chain, focusing on financing, carbon certification, and strategy. Notably, he supported the certification of Africa’s first government-led PV solar project and has delivered capacity-building for government officials on carbon compliance.
He plays an active role in advancing Paris Agreement Article 6 implementation, helping countries monetize carbon credits to support NDC financing. In 2024, Aymeric was appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the African Legal Support Fund to co-author the climate finance section of the Understanding Power Project Financing Handbook for Least Developed Countries.
