Originally from Venezuela and now based in Barcelona, Ana has lived in Ireland, Italy, and Spain, bringing a multicultural and multidisciplinary perspective to her leadership. With 9 years of experience in IBM and TUI Travel, she has the expertise to oversee operations, finance, compliance, and strategic growth, ensuring the company’s systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with international sustainability standards. She works closely with technical and administrative teams to implement data-driven infrastructures that support transparency and verifiable environmental impact.
Ana brings over a decade of cross-functional experience spanning finance, marketing, brand identity, user experience, technology, and design. Her ability to integrate business operations with creative and technical insight allows her to drive both innovation and operational excellence. She has led high-impact partnerships—including with FC Barcelona—and is deeply committed to advancing sustainability through digital innovation.

As Chief Operating Officer at Plastiks since March 2023, she spearheaded the company’s ISO 9001:2015 certification—establishing an integrated management system that unified quality, environmental, and health & safety protocols in a blockchain-based platform for plastic recovery—while overseeing a full restructuring of internal systems, business modeling, finance, and compliance to support rapid growth.
