Monique Mathys-Graaff

Head of Sustainability Solutions - WTWco

Her current role is Head of Sustainability Solutions at WTWco Investments driving strategic and commercial implementation of global sustainability offerings. She brings +20 years of experience in a variety of investment strategy and sustainability focused roles within pension funds, asset managers, investment banks, philanthropy and corporates. As an advocate for stronger Governance, she has mobilised capital towards environmental and social investment strategies across public and private markets assets, representing Assets of approximately $300 bn. Prior to joining WTWco, Monique was Senior Advisor at the Impact Management Project/Platform, leading sustainability focused global organisations to drive system-level change across Global Capital Markets.

Alexander von Allmen

Head of Portfolio Management - Retraites Populaires

Alexander von Allmen is the Head of Portfolio Management at Retraites Populaires, a Lausanne based public institution managing CHF 30 billion in assets and offering life insurance and retirement solutions for individuals, companies and pension funds. He leads a team of eight investment professionals. He is a member of the allocation and investment committee. Before, Alexander was in charge of alternative investments, a portfolio manager and an analyst since joining Retraites Populaires in 2008.

Damian Payiatakis

Head of Sustainable & Impact Investing - Barclays

Damian Payiatakis is Head of Sustainable & Impact Investing at Barclays Private Bank. He leads Barclays efforts to guide individuals, families, and charities on how to invest both to protect and grow their assets and to make a positive contribution to our world. His team advises the firm’s private and public market specialists on how to incorporate ethical, responsible and impact approaches into their products, portfolios, and services. As well, they have published original thought leadership on scaling social businesses, investor motivations for impact, and impact reporting. Mr. Payiatakis was part of the UK Government’s Taskforce on the topic and is a frequent commentator in publications such as Financial Times, CNN Money, Euromoney, Reuters, as well as a speaker & facilitator at impact investing conferences. His work as an intrapreneur has featured in Harvard Business Review. Mr. Payiatakis graduated from Brandeis University summa cum laude with Highest Honours. He also holds both a M.A. in International Economics & Finance from Brandeis International Business School and a MSc. in Organisational & Social Psychology from the London School of Economics.

Amy Wilson

Head of Stewardship - NBIM

Amy Wilson leads the stewardship team at NBIM with responsibility for the fund’s overall approach to stewardship, thought leadership on corporate governance and the development of the fund’s voting guidelines. She also leads engagement with portfolio companies in the consumer and telecommunications sector. Previously, Amy Wilson led the European engagement team at EOS at Federated Hermes, a specialist stewardship team representing a global group of asset owners with combined assets of 1.3tr USD. She was responsible for company and public policy engagement across the region and led EOS' global voting activity and policy development.

Jean-Louis Nakamura

Head of Conviction Equities Boutique - Vontobel Asset Management

Jean-Louis Nakamura joined Vontobel in November 2022. From 2008 to 2022, he was Head of Multi-Asset and Systematic Strategies and Deputy Global CIO at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. He assumed the role of CIO Asia-Pacific and Head of Hong Kong office for Lombard Odier Asia. Before that, he was CEO of the French public service additional pension scheme (ERAFP) and CIO of the French Public Pension Fund. Previous experiences include Senior Economist for the French Ministry of Finance and the European Union Council. Jean-Louis holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po in Paris and graduated from Ecole Nationale d’Administration.

Andrea Webster Panelist,

Head of Financial Transformation Benchmark - World Benchmarking Alliance

Andrea is Head of the Financial System Transformation at the World Benchmarking Alliance which benchmarks banks, asset owners, asset managers and life insurers against global frameworks and principles. She is also leading work to champion best practices across the sector, peer to peer learning as well as supporting various industry and global initiatives. Before joining World Benchmarking Alliance, Andrea has spent over 20 years in the finance sector, from being a hands-on practitioner to management and advisory positions in the asset management industry across a broad range of public and private market strategies and investor groups.
