Building Bridges is growing and we are seeking to provide 2 open positions within our Communication Department to help drive our ambitions to the next level!

Building Bridges aims to shape the global sustainable finance agenda to build a bridge towards a global economic model aligned with the needs of a sustainable and just society. Building Bridges is a joint initiative, launched in 2019 by Swiss public authorities, the finance community, the United Nations, international organisations and NGOs to accelerate the transition to a global economic model aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Building Bridges movement meets every year with its community, bringing relevant decision makers and players from the finance and corporate sectors, governments, civil society, academia and sustainable development communities to the same table around its flagship event in Geneva. The 5th edition of Building Bridges will be held from 9-12 December 2024 in Geneva and will see UNEP FI host its 18th Global Roundtable on 10-11 December under the same roof.

In 2024, after five years of commitment and growth, Building Bridges transitions from a movement to a foundation, with an established governance and a clear roadmap.

What We Are Looking For

  • Head of Communications: temporary full time position until the end of December 2024, with the potential to convert into a permanent position.
  • Communications Intern: 6 months temporary mission until the end of December 2024 – full time or 80% on an annual basis (full time position 3 months prior to the Geneva Event, 9-12 December 2024).
