Ian Sayers has a successful track record in financing, international business strategy and sustainable value chain development. He has raised funds for, and managed, some of ITCs most complex multi-year projects.

He is now leading improvement of access to financing and investment for sustainable enterprise and trade development in emerging and developing economies. This includes developing and applying innovative financing, business and supply chain practices to accelerate climate adaptation, employment and enterprise profitability whilst reducing negative impact on the planet.

Ian has, over many years, assisted 1,000s of MSMEs in more than 70 sectors, influenced global development and SME financing practices through collaborations and leadership in value chain and systems thinking.
